About the GEEA Greenhouse

The GEEA greenhouse is a local vertical greenhouse that utilises the precision farming technique. This means that technology (powered by our solar panels) provides detailed readings on soil chemistry, water content, nutrients, and growth, measuring the progress of each individual plant. Because of this, we are able to significantly increase yields and reduce water dependency by 90%.

The GEEA greenhouse also utilizes hydroponics, which includes no soil, meaning nutrients are biologically injected into the plants. This process provides numerous jobs and further increases yields as the plants have smaller roots.

Our Produce is carbon negative!

One of the biggest problems facing our planet is global warming as a result of carbon emissions.

Our solution to this problem is using precision and vertical farming, which reduces carbon emissions in an aesthetic and innovative sustainable way. Starting with implementing this in small communities such as, we aim to achieve our goal of reducing agricultural carbon emissions on a national scale.

By increasing yields per square metre, more carbon is stored within plants. Additionally, carbon emissions from nearby coal burning plantations are utilized to increase growth and photosynthesis. Our greenhouse is entirely reliant on solar energy.
